Holy and heavenly choices bring dignity to one's personal character. You become ennobled, upstanding, a moral creature who is living the ideal of Paradise.
You are walking in the way of the Kingdom of Heaven as a much more integrated personality soul who is accessible to love, available to wisdom, and awakening to all power from within.
The kingdom teaching is the idea of recognition, respect, responsibility, reverence, receptivity, and religious relationship which ushers one into the spiritual ideal of individual righteousness and the concept of man’s divine fellowship with God.
The acceptance of such a teaching would liberate humankind from the age-long bondage of animal fear and at the same time enrich human living with the following endowments of the new life of spiritual liberty:
1. The possession of new courage and augmented spiritual power. The gospel of the kingdom is to set humankind free and inspire each one to dare to hope for eternal life.
2. The gospel carries a message of new confidence and true consolation for all men, even for the poor of spirit who have lost hope and waver in their faith.
3. It is in itself a new standard of moral values, a new ethical yardstick wherewith to measure human conduct. It portrays the ideal of a resultant new order of human society.
4. It teaches the pre-eminence of the spiritual compared with the material; it glorifies spiritual realities and exalts superhuman ideals.
5. This new gospel holds upward all spiritual attainment as the true goal of living. Human life receives a new endowment of moral value and divine dignity.
6. It nurtures the understanding idea that eternal realities are the resultant reward of righteous earthly striving. Man’s mortal sojourn on earth acquires new meanings consequent upon the recognition of a noble destiny.
7. The new gospel affirms that human salvation is the revelation of a far-reaching divine purpose to be fulfilled and realized in the future destiny of the endless service of the salvaged daughters and sons of God.
In the Kingdom of God, the truth-loving soul, the one who hungers and thirsts for righteousness, for God, is admitted by faith to the spiritual kingdom.
The very establishment of the kingdom in the hearts of all creatures and every order of Life is fostered by the spirit’s domination and guidance of the individual believer.
The kingdom of God is at hand”— meaning a return to the high spiritual concept of idea, ideal, and reality which proclaims that the kingdom is the will of the heavenly Father .. the Creator Source .. which becomes dominant and transcendent in the heart of the believer.
I am come to stimulate a revival of these actual teachings, and such a restatement shall undo the work of my early 1st century followers who went about to create a sociophilosophical system of belief regarding my sojourn upon the earth.
The teaching of this story about my person nearly supplanted the preaching of my living gospel of the kingdom. In this way a historical religion of circumstances and events had displaced that more exalted teaching blending humankind's highest moral ideas and spiritual ideals with humankind’s most sublime hope for the future—eternal life.
This faith, hope, and charity is the original gospel of the kingdom . . .
